As we begin the new year, we set aside 21 days of prayer and fasting to seek God with intention and humility. This is a time to quiet distractions, realign our hearts with His will, and draw closer to Him together.
WHAT IS FASTING
Fasting is a voluntary abstaining from food (or other comforts) for spiritual purposes.
Throughout Scripture, fasting is paired with prayer as a way to humble ourselves before God and refocus our dependence on Him.

Important note: If you have health concerns, we encourage you to consult a qualified medical professional before fasting.

Does Jesus Expect Us to Fast?
Yes. Jesus spoke of fasting as an expected spiritual practice, saying “when you fast,” not if you fast (Matthew 6:16–18).
The early church fasted, and Scripture shows believers fasting as a way to seek God’s direction, power, and renewal.
